Soba Choko are true mingei (folkcraft) articles that exude a subdued yet austere shibua (beautify of subtly) spirit in their production, design and use. Highly versatile shape that can be used for everything soba to salt, rice or as a drinking vessel. Toru Hatta produced this series of cups in a wood fired kiln.
